Times Square Takeover with Cycle for Survival

rfp-robotRFP ROBOT: Website Request for Proposal Generator

The time has come for a new website (or website redesign), which means you need to write a website request for proposal or web RFP. A Google search produces a few examples, but they vary wildly and don’t seem to speak really to your goals for developing or redesigning a new website. You need to write a website RFP that will clearly articulate your needs and generate responses from the best website designers and developers out there. But how?

Have no fear, RFP Robot is here. He will walk you through a step-by-step process to help you work through the details of your project and create a PDF formatted website design RFP that will provide the information vendors need to write an accurate bid. RFP Robot will tell you what info you should include, point out pitfalls, and give examples.

By the end of this year, an estimated 1,685,210 new cases of cancer will be diagnosed in the United States alone. Half of these patients will be diagnosed with a rare form of cancer, including but not limited to brain, pancreatic and thyroid cancers.
Cycle for Survival was created to help battle these rare cancers and fund research led by Memorial Sloan Kettering. Since 2007, participants have raised a total of $106 million through a series of indoor cycling events. Last year alone 27,000 riders in 15 cities were able to raise $30 million.

We at Phase2 love supporting the Cycle for Survival mission. In March, we participated in a team ride in New York City (and posed for photos!). And this Friday, September 30, we’re hopping back on our bikes for the Times Square Takeover!
We’ve also had the joy of supporting Cycle for Survival off the bike. In 2014, we were tasked with migrating cycleforsurival.org to a Drupal-based content management system. Our goal was to streamline the entire publishing process and enable editors with little to no HTML experience to create engaging content with ease.

According to Brandy Reppy, Director of Online Operations at MSK, digital technology is pivotal to the Cycle for Survival mission. Editors need to be able to efficiently manage and update digital assets, making it easier for participants and donors to get updates and information from the organization.
Check out our whole interview with Brandy Reppy on the impact of digital technology at Cycle for Survival. And if you’re interested in supporting this awesome cause, sign up for a cycling event near you!
