rfp-robotRFP ROBOT: Website Request for Proposal Generator

The time has come for a new website (or website redesign), which means you need to write a website request for proposal or web RFP. A Google search produces a few examples, but they vary wildly and don’t seem to speak really to your goals for developing or redesigning a new website. You need to write a website RFP that will clearly articulate your needs and generate responses from the best website designers and developers out there. But how?

Have no fear, RFP Robot is here. He will walk you through a step-by-step process to help you work through the details of your project and create a PDF formatted website design RFP that will provide the information vendors need to write an accurate bid. RFP Robot will tell you what info you should include, point out pitfalls, and give examples.

Make Way for Google Wave

If you’ve been out of the loop lately, then you may have missed Google’s big announcement about their newest communication platform called Google Wave. Google Wave allows users to communicate and collaborate in real time by combining email, instant messaging, social networking, wikis, project management and web chat all in one place. Created by a team out of Sydney, Australia, the main concept of Google Wave is to unify communication on the web. And although it’s invite-only right now (there’s still some beta testing going on), it should get easier in the coming weeks to snag an invite.

Why Do I Care What Somebody Had For Breakfast?

Twitter seems to be everywhere these days. In fact, it was mentioned so many times in one week that Joel McHale and the people at the Soup on E! made a video compilation of references with Joel calling Twitter “the digital macarena.” Like it or not, Twitter and the rest of the social media sites and applications have transformed the Internet and every other traditional form of marketing known to mankind for the last 70 years.
