As winter melts into spring during this 2011 Q1, we trade our Contra sweaters in for our keyboard flip flops and look forward to the beginning of new projects, fresh code, and American Idol.
Pixeldust and Door Number 3 have launched the newly redesigned Austin Humane Society website. Built on the Drupal platform, the website features a sporty new look and a stronger focus on making the connection between users and the animals awaiting adoption. Pixeldust implemented an interactive pet grid where future adopters can view and sort pets by color, size, age, breed and several other features. The database is populated by a national Humane Society pet database.
Pixeldust Interactive and the University of Texas at Austin, a major research university and the largest institution of The University of Texas system, have recreated and integrated the University’s existing Giving and Capital Campaign websites. The newly redesigned, integrated site features a unified theme, simple architecture and rich media experience that showcases the many ways UT is working to change the world.
Pixeldust Interactive and Texas A&M-Kingsville, TX, have launched the new video blog Javelina Pride website. The new site exists as an online video blogging community where students and teachers can share real-life experiences about what classrooms are really like, where to get the best food in town and uncensored opinions on dorms, dining and the rest of the TAMUK scene.
